چکیده

We examine the behaviour of the maximally entangled Bell state of two spin 12 massive particles under relativistic transformations. On the basis of explicit calculations of the Wigner rotation and the use of transformation properties of Dirac spinors, we establish that the constituent particles of the Bell state undergo momentum dependent rotation of the spin orientations characterized by the Wigner angle φW = tan−1 sinh sinh τ cosh +cosh τ . However, since local unitarity is retained in the process, the corresponding entanglement fidelity is not lost. c © Electronic Journal of Theoretical Physics. All rights reserved.

Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-Bohm experiment with relativistic massive particles

Two aspects of the relativistic version of the EinsteinPodolsky-Rosen-Bohm (EPRB) experiment with massive particles are discussed: (a) a possibility of using the experiment as an implicit test of a relativistic center-of-mass concept, and (b) in uence of the relativistic e ects on degree of violation of the Bell inequality. The nonrelativistic singlet state average h j~a ~ ~b ~ j i = ~a ~b is r...

Quantum Entanglement under Lorentz Boost

In order to understand the characteristics of quantum entanglement of massive particles under Lorentz boost, we first introduce a relevant relativistic spin observable, and evaluate its expectation values for the Bell states under Lorentz boost. Then we show that maximal violation of the Bell’s inequality can be achieved by properly adjusting the directions of the spin measurement even in a rel...

In this paper the relativistic quantum mechanics is considered in the framework of the nonstandard synchronization scheme for clocks. Such a synchronization preserves Poincaré covariance but (at least formally) distinguishes an inertial frame. This enables to avoid the problem of a noncausal transmision of information related to breaking of the Bell's inequalities in QM. Our analysis has been f...

Relativistic entanglement of quantum states and nonlocality of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen(EPR) paradox

Relativistic bipartite entangled quantum states is studied to show that Nature doesn’t favor nonlocality for massive particles in the ultra-relativistic limit. We found that to an observer (Bob) in a moving frame S′, the entangled Bell state shared by Alice and Bob appears as the superposition of the Bell bases in the frame S′ due to the requirement of the special relativity. It is shown that t...

An Entanglement Study of Superposition of Qutrit Spin-Coherent States

Considering generalized concurrence as the criterion of entanglement, we study entanglement properties of superposition of two qutrit coherent states, as a function of their amplitudes. These states may attain maximum entanglement or no entanglement at all, depending on the choice of the parameters involved. The states revealing maximum entanglement also display the maximum violations of the Be...
